Thinking skills and reasoning

Today some of the most fundamental skills you can have involve controlling how you think and change, these skills involve learning and adapting to circumstance, thinking in new and creative ways, and finally a painfully rigorous decision making process. There are many different ways to learn, my favorites being the brute force of memorization, the scarring of a painfully tragic mistake, being guided through instruction of one with more experience, and the absolute best being learning through example. All of them have their different quirks and particular uses. Creative thinking can be surprisingly formulaic, first you research the topic, then you enter a thinking state whatever that means, and pull out a notepad and think A LOT. When making decisions the most important part is to analyse the situation to an absurd degree to understand everything imaginable about it, then identify every potential reason to and to not choose each way, and then just making a decision.

Technology

Feared by some and revered by all who

My history with technology has always been a mix between curiosity, success, and annoyance. What is technology though. Technically a table is a technology if you go by the dictionary definition of what qualifies as a technology.  I do work with quite a few though, pens and paper are my personal favorites, but the countless uses and compatibility of my computer and phone are the most practical for my current academic needs. As redundant as it is to write about how I use technology for a reader who will likely have found this on a  website I “artfully” made. Which is about as far as my use of technology goes.

INTERPERSONAL AND COLLABORATIVE ABILITY

No one person can do more than one thing effectively at a time, which is why teamwork is necessary to get anything complex, or multifaceted done in a reasonable amount of time. Most things that anyone cares about are complex and multifaceted, which makes one's abilities to work with others rather important. Luckily I am more than able to work with others having experience both working with others, and getting others to work with me. It’s relatively simple, bring everyone together to begin to brainstorm what needs to be done to accomplish the given goal, which makes everyone familiar with what we’ll be doing, and who they’ll be doing it with.  Next is to decide who will be doing what, mostly letting people volunteer to utilize what they are best at. The only thing left after that is to get it done, while periodically meeting to discuss progress, what could be stopping progress, and any new ideas. The most important part of this method is trusting the people your working with to be competent and diligent in their own work, and let them do it. This method worked for me while writing plays, filming educational media, biomedical solutions, in depth explorations of the mechanics of diseases, and ecological research.

PERSONAL QUALITIES, WORK HABITS, AND ATTITUDES

Despite popular belief, I definitely have personal qualities. Such as a sense of responsibility, a good idea of what I’m worth, a drive to be honest, and time management skills. Taking responsibility for your actions is always the right thing to do, but what’s even better is taking responsibility for completely unrelated consequences just to be helpful. Being able to manage your time effectively is a very important skill, my strategy for going about it is to tell people around me that I am doing what I need to do with my time, so they may shame me into getting it done. But only if I need help paying attention. The most important part of my life is, I hope unsurprisingly, me, because I am important, if not to absolutely anyone else, then to me. Which seems fair enough.
